ENGR. FREDERICK ENI EWA (DIRECTOR METALLURGICAL INSPECTORATE)
PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND: Engr. Frederick Eni Ewa is a professional mining engineer of immense standing, certified by the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), and a member of several professional bodies including the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) and the Nigerian Society of Mining Engineers (NSME). With a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining from the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Engr. Ewa has excelled in his career, spanning over three decades of dedicated service in the mining and metallurgical sectors of Nigeria.
RECENT ACHIEVEMENTS AND CONTRIBUTIONS: Currently, as Director of the Metallurgical Inspectorate Department at the Ministry of Steel Development, he continues to influence national policies and projects that shape the future of our nation’s mineral resources. His leadership, technical expertise, and commitment have also seen him contribute immensely to the growth and development of metal sector. With the support of the Principals of the Ministry under his leadership, the Metallurgical Inspectorate Department is contributing to the regulation of the Metals industry in Nigeria, championing the setting up of centralized scrap metal collation centres as well as the Boot Camp training of Nigerian Youths.
